The robot 'Sara' is the first robot in the world to be made in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, capable of speaking and making jokes in the local dialect. As part of the Kingdom's strategy to localize technology and various industries and employ artificial intelligence, the robot 'Sara' was unveiled during the LEAP 23 conference held in Riyadh from February 6 to 9, 2023, under the theme 'Into New Worlds'.

A television interview aired by 'al-Ekhbariya' channel documented the first meeting with the robot Sara. Speaking in the Saudi colloquial dialect, the robot Sara welcomed visitors to the Saudi Digital Pavilion participating in the LEAP 2023 international tech conference in its second edition.

The robot 'Sara' was made in collaboration between Saudi Digital and Qss Company. She can communicate with all visitors, interact with them, perform traditional dances, and respond to visitors' inquiries.
Hello, Sara
The robot 'Sara' is equipped with an AI-powered camera that can recognize the distance of people standing in front of her. She initiates a conversation when greeted with the phrase "Hello, Sara" She also has a pre-trained model to recognize different Saudi dialects, analyze sentences, understand their content, and then provide an appropriate response in text form.
