Updated Murshiduk App
On March 1, 2021, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture launched the updated second version of the Murshiduk App. This update includes several new smart services, enhancing the app's usability and speeding up access to accurate information.

The app aims to achieve several goals, including facilitating farmers' access to solutions for the problems they face across all regions of the Kingdom in easy ways and creating smart services for successful agriculture to achieve food security.
Murshiduk App services
The app provides users with several agricultural services, including: The smart guide, which allows farmers to communicate with a smart automated guide that answers their queries and provides guidance materials without the need for them to move; the service of asking about a plant or pest; and successful experiences and smart identification of pests and diseases of coffee shrubs.
The app also offers services, such as conducting agricultural analyses, allowing farmers to bring their samples for analysis and obtain the results through the app without needing to return to the center. Additional services include agricultural extension management, linking with the National Center of Meteorology, request and consultation services, and viewing information from central markets through live broadcasts showcasing their products. It also features an agricultural extension evaluation service.
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has added several services to the Murshiduk App, including veterinary guidance, crop protection, irrigation systems, protected and organic agriculture, apiaries, honey production, plant production, food industries, livestock raising, and fisheries.
Murshiduk App registrants count
The number of farmers registered on the Murshiduk App by the end of 2022 reached approximately 249,000. The app provided about three million agricultural consultations across sixty-four fields during 2022. It enables communication with over 398 specialized agricultural extensions and experts across various regions of the Kingdom, as well as with international and regional organizations such as FAO, the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, and the Agricultural Development Fund. These collaborations aim to offer remote advisory and guidance services in agricultural fields to farmers.
Murshiduk App supervising entity
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture oversees the Murshiduk App along with several others, each dedicated to providing and facilitating services in agriculture, environment, and water sectors. These include: the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture App, the Riyadh Plants App, the Riyadh Air Quality App, the Arsad App, the Saudi Irrigation Organization App, and the National Water App.
These apps aim to implement the digital transformation plan by issuing several electronic apps to facilitate mobile e-government transactions and advance government service delivery.
Murshiduk App awards
The Murshiduk App won the Arab Digital Government Gold Award for 2023 in the smart app category. It provides smart services for successful agriculture, aiming to achieve food security in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
