The Digital Government Forum is a digital event held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to empower government entities digitally and achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. It is organized by the Digital Government Authority. The first edition of the forum was launched in 2022 in the capital city, Riyadh, with the participation of various government entities and decision-makers in the field of digital government at both local and international levels.
Objectives of Digital Government Forum
The Digital Government Forum aims, through gathering government entities, experts, and specialists, to exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of digital government at regional and international levels. It also aims to review opportunities and challenges in the digital transformation journey, disseminate the Kingdom's experiences in government digital transactions, exchange expertise and experiences, launch new digital governmental products, build partnerships, explore best modern technological practices, review future trends of digital governments, and explore investment opportunities in the digital sector in the Kingdom.

The Digital Government Forum targets several categories, including investors in digital transformation, the private sector, media and opinion writers, digital transformation leaders in government entities, and international media. It also targets experts in the field of digital government, as well as global organizations and international media.
Digital Government Forum 2022
The Digital Government Forum 2022 represents the first edition, which was held under the motto "Towards a Promising Digital Horizon" on November 16, 2022, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the capital city, Riyadh. The forum serves as an interactive platform gathering government entities, and national and international experts and specialists in the field of digital government to exchange expertise and experiences. This edition witnessed the launch of a range of new digital government products in addition to the announcement of the results of the tenth digital transformation measurement.
The forum included several panel discussions and workshops during which various aspects related to digital transformation and its impact were discussed. Moreover, a ministerial session titled "Role of Digital Transformation in Achieving the Objectives of Saudi Vision 2030" was held, featuring the participation of the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services.
It also witnessed the launch of several digital government products, including Nusuk Platform, Senaei Platform, the Unified Tourism Platform, the National Data Platform, and the National Single Sign-On service. Furthermore, it included honoring the winners of the Digital Government Award.
Digital Government Forum 2023
The second edition of the Digital Government Forum was organized from December 19 to December 20, 2023, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the capital, Riyadh, under the theme "Our Future is Now." During the forum, the winners of the second edition of the Saudi Digital Government Award were announced, along with the winners of the fifth edition of the GCC Digital Government Award. In addition, the results of the 2023 Digital Transformation Measurement were revealed.
The forum witnessed a main session titled "Role of Innovation and Digital Transformation in Enhancing Efficiency in the Energy Sector Towards a Sustainable Future," as well as a ministerial session titled "Road to 2030." In addition, the forum included the Digital Saudi Exhibition, showcasing key digital services and products offered by the private sector.
