Foodex Saudi Expo

Foodex Saudi Expo is an international Saudi exhibition specializing in the food and beverage sector. It is one of the largest international markets specializing in the food sector, featuring food products from over fifty countries with the participation of 559 brands, of which 79 percent are international companies and 21 percent are local. The expo attracted more than eight thousand visitors specializing in the food industry.

It is held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center and is accompanied by several events, including the "Salon Culinaire," which is the largest international chef competition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supervised by the International Chef's Association and the Saudi Arabian Chef's Association. The expo also features a business meeting program and the Foodex Saudi Innovation Award.

In 2023, its tenth edition was concluded.

Foodex Saudi Expo aims to enhance the position of new brands in the food and beverage world, keep up with the rapid developments in the hotel and restaurant sector, and align with the comprehensive Saudi renaissance across all sectors. It seeks to establish global partnerships in retail, food, and the manufacturing and packaging of grains, nuts, and various types of dried fruits. Additionally, the expo aims to exchange business and expertise and discover the latest products and technologies in the food industry.

Foodex Saudi Expo includes several accompanying events, such as the Business Meeting Program, which is dedicated to facilitating meetings between buyers, businessmen, and managers with exhibitors. It enables decision-makers and managers to schedule their meetings within the expo. The Salon Culinaire is also among the accompanying events and represents the largest international chef competition in the Kingdom, in collaboration with entities such as the International Chef's Association, Saudi Chef's Table, and the Saudi Arabian Chefs' Association. Among the events is the Foodex Saudi Innovation Award, which was held for the first time in 2019. It is the first of its kind in the culinary field in the Kingdom. The award focuses on selecting the best food products in terms of creativity in the final product presentation and the quality of its ingredients.
