Situated on the summit of al-Aan Mountain, it is one of the oldest heritage mud palaces in Najran. It was built in 1689 and named after the town where it is located. The palace comprises four floors. Its architecture reflects the construction style of Najran community. It is surrounded by a wall of a height of seven m.
Qasr al-Emara in Najran:
It is a historical building located in the center of the ancient city. It is located in the Aba al-Saud Historical Neighborhood in Najran. Furthermore, it covers an area of 625 m. Prince Turki Bin Mohammed al-Madi ordered its construction in 1944 as a seat for the emirate. The castle comprises sixty rooms. It features a mosque and a well. It remained a seat for the Emirate of Najran until 1958.
Khuwairan Palace:
Also known as Darb Khuwairan, it is located in al-Faisaliyah Neighborhood in Najran. It offers an exhibit of the mud residential structures of the region. These structures are locally known as al-Duroob. They are distinguished by their elevated heights. The palace comprises five floors. It was fully renovated by its owners to offer an exhibit of heritage architecture in Najran and highlight the historical and cultural role of the region.
