The Tabuk Amana is one of the seventeen municipalities distributed within the thirteen regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its primary role encompasses advancing the Tabuk region while fostering collaboration with various governmental bodies to formulate comprehensive urban plans for cities, governorates, and centers situated within the region. By assuming these responsibilities, the amana ensures the provision of essential municipal services to both citizens and residents.
Tabuk Amana maintains a close affiliation with the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs and Housing. Its headquarters are located in Tabuk City, in close proximity to the regional Emirate's headquarters. On 21 August 2005, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs made significant decisions. These decisions encompassed various aspects, such as naming regions, establishing connections between municipalities and rural complexes, and terminating the General Directorates for Municipal and Rural Affairs. These actions were based on the Municipal and Rural Law issued on February 10, 1977, and the decision of the Council of Ministers issued on October 13, 2003. As part of these changes, the Municipality of Tabuk underwent a name amendment and became known as Tabuk Amana. Furthermore, the municipalities and rural complexes in the region were linked to the secretary of the Tabuk region.

Tabuk Amana comprises ten municipalities: Ashwaq Municipality, al-Bada Municipality, al-Shbah Municipality, Beda Municipality, Amlaj Governorate Municipality, al-Wajh Municipality, Haql Governorate Municipality, Tayma Governorate Municipality, Duba Governorate Municipality, and al-Qalibah Municipality.
Tabuk Amana mandate
Tabuk Amana diligently undertakes a diverse array of responsibilities, including the execution of public slaughterhouse projects, the establishment and upkeep of public markets and designated markets, the implementation and meticulous maintenance of aesthetic sculpture projects, road asphalting, the strategic development and maintenance of parks, the treatment of swamps and water collection wells, the maintenance of flood drainage projects on roads and streets, and the proficient handling of numerous other vital tasks.
