National Agricultural Development Company, abbreviated to NADEC,is a Saudi company specializing in the food and agricultural industry. It was established in 1981, with a capital of SAR400 million. The company runs its operations from its headquarters in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. It markets its products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf countries.

Establishment of the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC)

The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) opened Wadi ad-Dawasir agricultural project in 1982. In 1984, it opened the first factory for fresh milk products and dairy, while it launched the Hail Agricultural Project in 1985. In 1986, NADEC began bottling milk and its derivatives. In 1987, al-Jawf Agricultural project for olives was opened, while the second factory for fresh milk and dairy products was opened in 1995.

The year 2006 witnessed the beginning of the intensive olive production project at the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC). Moreover, the first expansion of the cheese factory was opened in 2007. Fresh juice production began in the new expansion in 2007. In 2014, the Sudan agricultural project was opened.

In 2015, the National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) opened al-Hazm model farm for cows. In 2016, NADEC opened a special plant for plastic containers in NADEC City.
