The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development launched the Freelance Program in line with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to reach human potential, job seekers, and self-employed individuals, and to enhance their productivity, skills, and experience.
The program aims to diversify opportunities for job seekers to engage in freelancing, raise awareness in society about the concept of freelancing and the available opportunities, empower those interested in freelancing activities, contribute to providing additional income, and increase security and credibility.
The ministry has also issued an accredited Freelance Document, which allows individuals to register for various activities and opportunities to work independently in the activities approved by the ministry through the Freelance Portal.
The ministry launched the Freelance Platform to offer services such as renewing the Freelance Document, canceling the Freelance Document, modifying the activity of the Freelance Document, and verifying the Freelance Document through its number.
