Ad-Durrah Port is a land port on the northwestern border of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, linking it with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, along with both Halat Ammar and al-Hadithah ports. It is located in Haql Governorate, Tabuk Province, on the border strip with Jordan, which is about 745 km long.
Ad-Durrah Port is one of fourteen land border ports under the management of the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, the General Directorate of Border Guard, and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority. These ports link the Kingdom to eight Gulf and Arab countries, which are (Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman, and Yemen).
Ad-Durrah Port development
Ad-Durrah Port overlooks the Gulf of Aqaba from the western side and is situated approximately eleven km away from the Saudi Haql Governorate. The border port connects the Kingdom with three countries: Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine.
Ad-Durrah Port was developed in 2020 as part of the project to enhance both air and sea ports, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. The initial phases of operation for the gradually developed facilities commenced in the same year and extended until 2023.
