The Esports Federation Cup is a tournament gathering Saudi clubs under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sport to compete in a number of electronic games for prizes of up to around SAR32 million. The tournament aims at instilling the culture of esports within the local community. It allows the participation of gamers across all provinces and cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and was launched by the Saudi Esports Federation in 2021.
The Esports Federation Cup falls within the Club Support Strategy, aimed at enabling the digital transformation of sports clubs and achieving financial and administrative sustainability for Saudi sports clubs. Financial prizes are awarded based on the number of points achieved by each club, where each point scored by a participating club is estimated at SAR300,000.
The Saudi Esports Federation held two seasons of the tournament during the same year. The first season was launched on August 26, 2021, whereas the second began on September 16, 2021.

Fifty sports clubs, represented by three hundred gamers, participated and competed in five electronic games: Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2, PUBG MOBILE, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The competitions of the second season of the Esports Federation Cup were held in dedicated electronic game lounges. They were hosted by three Saudi cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The winning teams of the second season were crowned champions at the headquarters of the Saudi eLeague, during the Saudi competitions Esports summit in Riyadh.
Winning clubs of the Esports Federation Cup
Al-Hilal club won the first prize in the 2021 second season, after defeating al-Nassr club in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Al-Hilal club is the biggest winner of the Esports Federation Cup tournaments, where it won six tournaments out of seven, in Rocket League, PUBG, and Dota 2, whereas al-Fateh club won two tournaments and al-Shabab club won one tournament.
