The Saudi Sports Media Federation aims to spread Saudi sports media awareness and deepen national identity within it.‏‏ in addition to preparing the environment for sports media professionals, the federation aims to focus on developing and supporting sports media personnel and enhancing their professional standards through specialized training courses, workshops, and informative seminars related to sports media.

It also aims to oversee the organization of Saudi sports media delegations during tournaments and sporting events, encourage specialized studies in the sports field, and support them through collaboration with universities, organizations, and specialized media institutions. Additionally, it seeks to strengthen relationships between federation members and experts in sports media at regional, continental, and international levels.

Initiatives of the Saudi Sports Media Federation

The Saudi Sports Media Federation works through an initiative called Sports Media Development, targeting sports journalists across various regions of the Kingdom. It aims to implement sixty training programs aimed at achieving the federation's goals in collaboration with several local and international media institutions and universities. ‏‏Among these initiatives are: The digital journalism skills program, ‏‏the sports documentary program making, the specialized program for media coverage of camel racing, the specialized training program for media coverage of rallies and Formula races, sports media content creation course, the field reporter tools course, journalism arts course, and numerous training courses and educational workshops covering various aspects of sports media.
