
Many heritage and archaeological sites are spread across the governorates of Northern Borders Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including:
King Abdulaziz Palace in Linah
It was built in 1935 in Linah Center, located about one hundred km south of Rafha Governorate. Constructed from mud bricks, clay, and stones, it features circular towers at its corners and a spacious courtyard overlooked by the palace's Majlis (guest reception area), rooms, and facilities.
The Emirate Palace in Ar'ar
It is considered one of the oldest palaces in the Kingdom. The palace is divided into several rooms with different uses, and specific types of mountain stones were used in its construction.
Linah Heritage Market
Located in the Linah Village it consists of seventy-two shops arranged in a rectangular layout. The market was built from stone and clay and roofed with palm fronds.
Old Barq Center in Lawqah
Located in the historic Lawqah Village in the west of Rafha Governorate, it served as an important center for trade exchange. It consists of two rectangular rooms with a courtyard in between.
Linah Heritage Village
Built during the reign of the Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud during the unification of the Kingdom, the village is distinguished by its market where various goods and products were displayed.
Umm Khinsir Village
It is located sixty-six km east of Ar'ar City, situated on the international road connecting Ar'ar with Rafha. This village is considered the oldest among the neighboring villages in the province.
